God, let it rain

 O' God let your name rain in all of the earth,

for they shall know your name, 

O' God let your mercy rain,

for we sinners are in need of mercy,

O' God let your grace rain, for your grace is needed in our weakness, as Paul says

Oh God let your glory rain, for your glory shall be filled in all of the earth

Let your spirit rain, O' God

 for your Spirit shall rain throughout the earth

O' God let it rain
